After reclaiming the Temple, they found only enough oil to keep the eternal lamp lit for one day. Miraculously, however, the oil lasted for eight days, allowing them to rededicate the Temple with a fresh supply.
  • The Maccabees’ victory over the Greek army: This victory marked a significant turning point for the Jewish people, reaffirming their faith and traditions.
